James Kay Gilgen
Our loving father, husband and friend James Kay "Jim" Gilgen passed away on December 24th, 2018, surrounded by family. Jim was born in Soda Springs, Idaho on the 10th of May, 1935. He married Mildreth Biorge in the Boise temple in 1955, together they had 15 children then later divorced.
He later married, Barbara Joyce Mitchell on August 16, 1996 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
He is survived by his wife Barbara, his children, Richard (Dana) Gilgen, David (DeeAnne) Gilgen, Gary (Lori) Gilgen, Julie (Cary) Cline, Debrah (Kenneth) Harman, Thomas Gilgen, George (Sharmae) Gilgen, Kenneth Gilgen, Kathy (Craig) Beals, Robert (Keri) Gilgen, Michael (Kari) Gilgen, Alma (Kodi) Gilgen, Diane (Brian) Kunz, Mark (Laura) Gilgen, his two step children Tracey Gines, and Dawn (Gordon) Taylor, his 78 grandchildren, 54 great-grandchildren, and 2 great great-grandchildren. He was proceeded in death by his son Val Gilgen, and his grandson Travis Gilgen.
Funeral services will be held at the LDS church house located at 200 West Center Street, Kamas, Utah on Thursday, December 27, 2018 at 11:00 a.m.     Viewing will be held on Thursday one hour prior to the funeral.

Graveside services will be at Mountainview Estates; 3115 E Bengal Blvd. Cottonwood Heights, UT at 1:30 p.m. under the direction of Crandall Funeral Home,  Kamas, Utah.
