Tyson is the son of Kae and Farrell Atkinson of Francis UT. He was born May 6, 1986; he grew up in Francis and graduated from South Summit High School in 2004. He began working as an electrician and found that he excelled and liked it. He decided to make it his career. He was a good worker and enjoyed the many “heights” in which he did his job. He married Sydney Ann Olson of Coalville, on June 18, 2010; they made their home in Kamas. They have 2 children Lilee (9) and Duffy (5). He loved playing with his children and was often found teaching them to be “extreme” like him. Tyson liked life on the extreme. He loved to push limits and often suffered broken bones or stitches as a result. He liked mountain and dirt biking, spending time in nature, snowboarding, and often times cooking great meals on the grill. He was an avid fan of the Cowboys and BYU; and loved sporting the teams apparel, including a Cowboys BBQ-ing apron. Tyson was close with his family in which he often spent time. Tyson was a loved son, brother, husband, father, and friend. He had a knack for making people laugh and being the “life” of the party.
