James Wilde

James Arlen “Jim” Wilde, 77, passed away peacefully at his home in Marion, Utah.  January 1, 2015.
He was born on December 29, 1937, in Kamas to George Leo and Mary Josephine (Lewis) Wilde.
Jim married Latrese Peterson in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on August 8, 1958. She passed away March 27, 2011.
Jim loved his family and enjoyed spending time in the outdoors.  He loved taking long drives in the mountains, riding his 4-wheeler, having backyard cook-outs, and spending time with close friends.
He was active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and served in various Priesthood callings.

He is survived by his daughters: Valerie (Philip) Marchant, of Marion; and Jill (Chad) Hunsaker of South Jordan; a sister, Louise Jacobsen, of Ogden;  nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his wife, a son, Tom; brothers, Leo, Arnold, Dick and  Dan; and sisters: Effie, Myrla and Nina.

Funeral service will be on Tuesday, January 6, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. in the Kamas LDS Stake Center in Marion.  Friends may call at the church on Monday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Tuesday one hour prior to the service.  Interment will be in the Marion Cemetery.
