Isabelle Guadalupe “Izzy” Fuentes, 21, passed away unexpectedly on August 16, 2021.
She was born on January 11, 2000 in Sandy, Utah to Aaron Moreno Fuentes and Trinidad Aisha (Saldivar) Fuentes.
She graduated from Evanston High School in 2018. She loved being a free spirit. She enjoyed painting and drawing beautiful pictures. She enjoyed being out in nature, living her life to the fullest. She was very spiritual and was meditative, being one with herself and nature. Izzy enjoyed and loved being a mother, spending every minute doting on her daughter.
She is survived by her daughter Shanelle Estellita Fuentes, her father, Aaron (Mari) Moreno Fuentes; mother, Trinidad Aisha (Michael Sierra) Fuentes; brothers, Anthony R. DiCicco, Aaron A. (Ivy) Fuentes, and Richard Espinoza-Fuentes; and her sister Olivia R. Fuentes and her “other mother” Heather M. Pasenelli. She will also be missed by her grandfather, Ramon G. Gutierrez, and grandparents, Aldofina & Facundo Fuentes, and Bertha and Dan Park; her niece, Brinlee Aisha DiCicco; and many aunts, uncles and cousins by the dozens; and her best friend, Hailey Holford with whom she loved to go dancing, having girl time and being there for each other.
She is preceded in death by her grandmother, Estella Gutierrez; her grandfather, George Cabrera; her aunt Guadalupe M. Saldivar, uncle Freddy Quintana; and her dear friend, Trini.
Funeral service will be on Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Mary Madgalen Catholic Church. Rosary will be on Tuesday evening at 7 p.m. Viewing will be one hour prior to the rosary and one hour prior to the mass.
Interment will follow in the Evanston City Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations to a fund for Izzy’s daughter Shanelle at U.S. Bank would be very appreciated.
