Iris Marie Largent (Dalquist)

Born April 27, 1944, in Ogden, Utah to Oscar and Erma Dalquist. She passed at home on September 3, 2024.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, friends and her animals. She was an active American Legion Auxiliary member for 70 years. She loved the outdoors camping, hunting, fishing, gathering the cows, enjoying nature. She loved traveling whether it was to be with her grandkids or simply taking in a rodeo. In her spare time, she was involved in a good book, doing crafts to be used by others, liked listening to and making music. She used her quiet time planting and weeding her flowers. At present she was looking forward to her next two great grandkids arriving soon.

Iris is survived by her husband Carder, daughters Lnette and Collette. She was preceded in death by her two sons Allan and Kip. She was blessed with four kids, 12 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 11:00 am Saturday, September 14, 2024, at the American Legion Hall in Fort Bridger, Wyoming. Interment will follow in the Fort Bridger Cemetery.

All are welcome to join the family for an American Legion Auxiliary luncheon afterwards.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to MJB Animal Clinic to be used for abandoned animals.
