Hilva Horne

Hilva Horne, 99, passed peacefully in her sleep on October 12, 2016 at the Rocky Mountain Care Center. She was born to Percy Herman Morrison and Linnie Rebecca Harris on May 21, 1917 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She married James Horne, Jr. on January 1, 1936. He preceded her in death on February 16, 1964.
She requested cremation and that no services be held. She was a wonderful caring wife, mother and friend. The angels were with her on her journey to be with her beloved husband, Jim who died in 1964. She will be happy to see her relatives and friends who have gone before her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband James Horne, Jr., her daughter Karolyn Overy, sister, June Smith, brothers Robert and Bud Morrison.
She is survived by daughter Kathy Horne of Evanston, son Robert (Gloria) Horne of Cheyenne, Several grandchildren and great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.
