Helen Bond Andersen passed away on May 15, 2016 at the Intermountain Medical Center in Park City, Utah.
She was born on November 26, 1929 in Henefer, Utah to Nephi Alma Bond Jr. and Ingeborg Emily Inkley.
She married Ray Maxwell Andersen in the Salt Lake LDS Temple Nov. 19, 1948. He preceded her in death on Jan. 19, 1989.
Helen was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and served faithfully in many callings, including Relief Society President. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, and was an accomplished quilter. She made many quilts. More than anything else she loved to be with her family and friends.
She is survived by her children: Marilyn (Jim) Gochnour, Burley, ID; Ruth (Todd) Tueller, Preston, ID; Kevin (Nellie D) Andersen, Boise, ID; Brian (Sayuri) Andersen, Peoa; and Cheryl (Joe) Loughmiller, Fairmont, MN; also 22 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren, and a brother Clint Bond, Henefer.
In addition to her husband, Ray, she is preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Beulah Stephens; and brothers Jay, Roy, Dean, Gordon, and Milton Bond; and a great grandson Logan Gottwald.
Funeral service will be on Saturday, May 21, 2016 at 11:00 AM in the Peoa LDS Ward Chapel. Viewing will be from 6 to 8 on Friday evening and one hour prior to the service on Saturday, also at the church.
Interment will be in the Peoa Cemetery under the direction of Crandall Funeral Home.
