Heather Evans

July 1, 1967 — June 6, 2017

Heather Robin Evans Kinder July 1, 1967- June 6, 2017 left her family and friends too soon. Heather was born to William Gary and Ruth Louise Evans in American Fork, Utah. Heather spent her childhood in Lyman Wyoming where she participated in swimming, volleyball, basketball, band, drill team, and cheerleading. Heather had a love for horses and spent many hours riding with her brother and sister.

Heather graduated from Lyman High School in 1985, where after she met and married Brad Beck, and from that union came a beautiful baby girl, Malarie Ruth. Their marriage ended later in divorce. Heather and Malarie lived in Salt Lake City, Utah where she worked for Salt Lake Community College and then later McDougal Funeral home. Heather then met Kevin Kinder and they married and had their handsome son, Kevin Jesse. Their marriage later ended in divorce.

Heather was a free spirit, making lifelong friends wherever she went. She lived life to its fullest by playing golf, learning to sail a boat, water skiing, and camping. Her proudest achievements were her children, Malarie and Jesse along with her grandson Caz. She had just learned that Jesse was going to make her a grandma again this December.

Heather was preceded in death by her father William Gary, mother Ruth Erickson, Grandpa and Grandma (Bill and Ida) Evans, Grandma (Sheila) Hackford, cousins Mark Olsen, and Russell Greenwood.

Heather is survived by her children Malarie Ruth (Isaac Griggs) grandson Cazious Michael Goick, step grandchildren Kiara and Dallin Griggs of Evanston, Wyoming; son Kevin Jesse Kinder of Murray Utah; her significant other Greg Bernard Mt. View Wyoming; her sister Jacquelyn McDowell of Smithfield, Utah; brother William Jason Evans of Mt. View Wyoming; her Aunts Sandra (Dennis) Greenwood, Beth (Ron) Rossiter, Joyce St. Clair; nieces and nephews Todd, Meghan and Courtney McDowell, Jace and Tahlia Evans and great nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 8pm on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at Crandall Funeral Home in Evanston, WY.  A viewing will be held 2 hours prior to the service from 6 to 8pm.
