Harold Tanner

Harold “Bud” Tanner, age 89, passed away on April 27, 2012 at Rock  Mountain Care Center in Evanston, Wyoming.  He was born on May 20, 1922 in Lyman, Wyoming, the son of Walter and Emily Louise (Bluemel) Tanner.
He married Mary Alice Hammer on March 1, 1947 in Kemmerer, Wyoming, and their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan Temple on June 12, 1961.
“Bud” loved to watch things grow, he loved to irrigate, and loved gardening.  He enjoyed keeping his vehicles clean and was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
He is survived by his sons, Randall (Jean) Tanner of Pavilion, WY.; and David (Debbie) Tanner, of Robertson, WY.  He is also survived by a brother, Willard Tanner, of Rock Springs, WY.; and sisters, Miriam Banks, of Lyman, WY.; Helen Kizzire, of Granger, WY.;  and Marie Lee, of Logan, UT.  He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, twenty six great grandchildren, and four great great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, his parents, one son; Terry, 3 brothers, and 2 sisters.
Visitation will be held at the Lyman L.D.S. chapel on Tuesday, May 1, 2012 from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and again one hour prior to services at the church on Wednesday.  Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at the Lyman L.D.S. Chapel, with Bishop Gilbert Lane Potter officiating.  Interment will follow services at the Lyman Cemetery.
