Gordon Berrier 80, passed away February 3, 2021 in Ogden, Utah.
He was born September 28, 1940 in Lyman, Wyoming to John Lee and Leah Berrier.
Gordon was an avid hunter, golfer, fisherman and king of the dutch oven. In his early days, he worked construction and on the oil rigs until he landed a job at FMC in 1966. He retired from there after 35 years.
In 1967 he married Nancy St. Jeor and they had two children, Kelly Quinn Berrier and Kristie Leann Berrier Erickson. They were later divorced. He later married Sherri Hagel. Sherri had 2 children, Veronica and Dana.
As a skilled carpenter he purchased and remodeled the old Johnson Hotel in Lyman. He loved spending time with the kids riding dirt bikes, camping, fishing and water skiing. He enjoyed traveling to visit his daughter in Alaska and golfing in Hawaii, but his favorite place was at his home in Lyman. He was a beloved father, grandfather, brother, friend and a good neighbor. He is survived by Son, Kelly Berrier and daughter Kristie Leann Berrier Erickson (Jim), and grand children Camden James and Bergen Marie Erickson of Juneau, Alaska. Step son Dana (Laura) Hagel of Gillette, WY, Duane Berrier of Page, AZ, Dorothy James (Chuck) of Springdale, UT, Richard Kendall Berrier (Nancy) of Rock Springs and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by parents John Lee and Leah Voss Berrier, John Lee Berrier Jr. (Jean), Lewis Berrier and sister-in-law Luann Berrier.
Services will be held at the Heritage Barn in Lyman, WY, February 8th at 11:00 am and a viewing 1 hour prior to the services.
