Gloria Arnold

Our dear sweet mom passed away peacefully on December 31, 2014 surrounded by loved ones in Murray, Utah. She was 79 years of age.
Mom was born March 3, 1935 to Lester and Dorothy Hackwell. She was the youngest of nine children.
Mom enjoyed spending time with her family which included participating in activities such as playing cards, going out to dinner and car rides.  She loved watching the Utah Jazz and game shows on the television. She was an avid reader and spent countless hours doing a variety of puzzles.
Her greatest joy in life was being involved in her grandchildren and great grandchildren’s lives.
Mom is survived by her son Jack (MaryAnn) Whitehead of Magna, UT and daughters Linda Gibson of West Valley City, UT and Bonnie (Darrell) Thomas of Kamas, UT; also survived by 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren and a sister Dorothy Scoggan of Salt Lake City, UT.
Mom was preceded in death by her parents, 6 brothers and 1 sister.
A special thanks to all of those who helped in taking special care of mom throughout the years.
Funeral services will be held Monday January 5, 2014 at 12 noon in the Kamas LDS Ward Chapel 100 West Center St. A viewing will take place Sunday evening from 6-8 pm and one hour prior to the service.
Interment will be in the Francis Cemetery under the direction of Crandall Funeral Home.
