Gino Foianini age 84 of Lyman Wyoming, died Friday March 4th 2016 at home. He was born December, 17th 1931 in Kemmerer Wyoming. The son of Yonne and Guido Foianini. He attended school in Lyman Wyoming and married Glenna Rae Black November 12th, 1954, in Evanston Wyoming. He worked as a rancher in Lyman Wyoming his entire life. His interests were bull sales, farm auctions, camping, fishing, and spending time with his family. He was an outstanding co-operator for accomplishment in the conservation of soil and water and related resources. He was president of the Fort Bridger Canal, the president of the Farmers Land and Livestock, and past president of Sage Creek Grazing Association.
Gino is survived by his wife Glenna whom he shared 61 wonderful years together. Out of the union brought them 3 beautiful children. 2 girls Toni (Gerald) Thompson of Roy, Utah. Teri (Gilbert) Torres, of Rock Springs Wyoming and Kelly (Janelle) Foianini of Lyman Wyoming. Grandchildren Staci (Ryan) Cash, Nick (Maria) Thompson. Chet ( Mckenna) Thompson, Mandi (Ben) Aimone. Bronson Foianini, Tyson Foianini, Tina (Jeff) Curran, and Tony Torres. Eleven great grandchildren, with one on the way. One sister, Eve Rising of Redding California. And one brother, Premo Foianini of Salt Lake City Utah.
Gino is preceded in death by both parents, his father, and mother in law; also four brothers and five sisters.
Gino will be remembered by his children and grandchildren as always, working hard. Sun up and sun set doesn’t mean it’s time to quit, just that the tractor lights need to be turned on. If you fall off your horse, it’s because you didn’t tighten up your cinch like you were supposed to, and for the love of God’s grace, never, never let a cow get by you if you’re the one watching the gate…
Viewing will be held March 8th 2016 from 6-8 pm. At the Urie Stake Center in Urie, Wyoming. Funeral services will be held March 9th 2016 at 1pm at the Urie Stake Center. Viewing also one hour prior to the service.
