Our beloved Gerald Lee Godfrey “Juggy” passed away September 26, 2021. Juggy was born November 26, 1950 in Coalville, Utah to Douglas and Audrey Crystal Godfrey.
Juggy spent his younger days hunting, fishing, cowboying, and working hard. Although tough as nails, he had a soft spot for 3 lucky kids: Tony Wolf, AJ Kartchner, and Kayla Tucker. He spent over 30 years loving them, passing on his wisdom of hunting, fishing, and the mountains.
Juggy lived for fishing and all types of hunting. Especially elk and coyote. He also passed down the love of bow hunting to us all. He had many dear lifelong friends and relatives. He loved making memories with his many cousins including Rex and Bill, who grew up with Jug in the Kamas Valley.
We are eternally grateful and blessed to have had so many wonderful years with Jug. He loved us unconditionally. He will be dearly missed. We are grateful his health challenges are finally done, and he has gone to meet those he has missed so much that passed before him.
A very special thanks to AJ for his dedicated, compassionate care of Jug these last several months.
He is preceded in death by his father, mother and nephew Levi. He is survived by AJ (Brittany), Kayla (Trent), Tony, Brantley, Tamira; sister Linda; and niece Amber. Also 10 grandchildren who will miss his popsicles and hugs.
‘Till we meet again, Jug, on the ridge when you’re done pumping concrete. We love you. Thank you!
