George Struzenegger

George Robert Sturzenegger

He was born April 3, 1935 in Salt Lake City to Joseph Nickalus and Sarah Kohler Sturzenegger.

He passed away peacefully in his sleep on December 30, 2021.

He graduated from West High School and was active in the baseball program. He enrolled in the U.S Army during the Korean conflict and honorably served our country.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 4 brothers and 2 special sisters that helped raise him (Donna Munsee and Joann Escher) and his daughter Teresa Sue Sturzenegger Tullis, that helped him through so many of life’s trials.

He is survived by his son Scott, 3 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

A special thanks to Canyon Hospice, Summit Vista Rehabilitation, son in law Dan Tullis, Brenda Brown, caregiver Barb Madsen and a cherished nephew Danny and Cindy McBride.

At George’s request no formal services will be held. Cremation has taken place.
