George Sparrow

February 20, 1945 — November 13, 2012

George Raymond Sparrow, 67, died Thursday, November 15, 2012 in Lyman, Wyoming.  He was born in Ayrshire, Scotland to Edward and Mary Sparrow on February 20, 1945.
He spent his childhood in Scotland, and was an active soccer player and champion.  He eventually moved to Virginia, where he spent most of his life.  He had a great love for the ocean, owls, wolves, and muscle cars.  He then moved to Lyman, Wyoming with is family.  He made many friends and enjoyed the time he had with his niece Mary, who he considered as a daughter.
He wanted it to be known that he wasn’t mad at anyone, and loved everyone.  He was loved more than he’ll ever know and will be greatly missed by all.
George is survived by his sister, Virginia (Thomas) Burkett, nieces and nephews; William, Valorie, Kevin, Christi, George, Audra, Thomas, Nikki, and Amber; great nieces and nephews; Alicia, Johnathon, William, Maria, Mary, Crystal, Christopher, Virginia, Brandon, Britany, Christina, Samantha, Shane, Lila, Thomas, Breeanna, Ashley, Stormy, Raymie, Destinie, Johnathan, and Mathew; great-great-nieces and nephews; Kera, Alanis, Wyatt, Julian, Angela, and Sheridan.
George was preceded in death by his parents and nephew, Billy.
Private graveside services will be conducted on Monday, November 26, 2012 at the Fort Bridger Cemetery.
