George Frazier

George O. Frazier, 71, of Woodruff, Utah, passed away on March 26th, 2015.
George was born February 1,, 1944, in Evanston, Wyoming, to Francis & Mary (Center) Frazier.
He attended South Rich High School in Randolph, Utah and continued his education at Utah State University, graduating in 1966 with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.  He began his engineering career at the Department of Agriculture and worked there for fourteen years.  He also served as the Rich County Engineer.  George was a fourth generation rancher, whose ranch produced cattle and sheep that have stellar reputations with buyers and he was able to top selling prices year after year.  He also served as president of the Woodruff Irrigation Company and was a board member up until his death.  In addition, he formed Frazier and Associates, an engineering company with his friend Tim Gibbons.  He was married to Catherine M. (Meyers) Frazier in February 1977.
George enjoyed spending time with his family and working on the ranch.  He especially enjoyed cattle drives, visiting with friends, outings at the Huffaker cabin, Christmas Eve with the Eastmans, Engineering conferences, trips to Omaha, Nebraska to attend cattle sales and horse races at Wyoming Downs.
George is survived by his wife of thirty eight years, Catherine M. Frazier of Woodruff, Utah; daughter Mandy (T.J.) Frazier of Farmington, Utah; son Ocie (Amber) Frazier of Woodruff, Utah; brother Ivan Frazier of Athens, Georgia; sister Kathleen (Ace) Asay of Palmer, Alaska and newborn grandson Taison Coopride.
He is preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law, Ace Assay.
A graveside service will be held at the Woodruff Cemetery TBD.
