Freda Wall

Freda Marie Wall passed away May 8, 2024 in Salt Lake City, UT, following a short illness.   She was born in Higgins Texas on July 29, 1947, her parents were Gilbert & Helen Geiger.  The family later moved to Evanston, Wyoming where she met the love of her life Daniel O. Wall.  They were married on August 1, 1964.  Freda lived a happy life in Robertson on the ranch with her husband Dan, their son Monte (Laurie), two grandsons Jesse (Jen) & Justin (Cierra), 4 great grandkids Kaden, Kayla, Kelsey & Kadee.

Freda loved being a ranch wife and was a very active partner on the ranch.   Whether horseback or driving semi she could do it all.  She enjoyed every season of ranch work, was a great cook and an all-around loveable and hard-working ranch hand!  She was always very self sufficient and knew how to doctor any animal or friend.                                                                                                                                          

Freda served on the Fort Bridger Cemetery District Board for over 30 years. She was an active member of the Willow Creek Homemakers Club serving in all the officer positions over her 60-year membership.  She had a cute personality and enjoyed and thrived on all the fun projects at club.  Freda joined in the fun of the Robertson Bunco club and would always say “I’m just here for the fun!!”

Freda would welcome anyone to their home and offer a treat, cold drink and a good visit. One friend is quoted as saying “She was the most enjoyable person I ever knew”.  She saw the good in everyone and always had something nice to say.  Just a few minutes with Freda and you were feeling pretty good about life.

Freda will be missed by all who knew her, especially her husband of almost 60 years, Dan. Son, Monte and Laurie. Grandsons Jesse & Jen, Justin & Cierra, great grandchildren Kaden, Kayla, Kelsey & Kadee. Sister Wanda Roth, Sister-in-Law Coleen Schultz. Nieces and Nephews Donald Schultz, Kathy (Rod) Jones & family, Sherrie Gillespie & family, Coralee Schultz & family, Leslie (Greg) Greenhaw & family, Elliott Whittaker, Curtis (Angela) Whittaker, Owen Wall, Mauri Wall, several cousins, her unofficial adopted daughters, sisters and grandchildren and all her very close friends that she thought of as family.

She was preceded in death by her parents Gilbert & Helen Geiger, brothers Floyd & Donald, parents-in-law/best friends Eldon & Edna Wall, brothers and sisters-in-law Wayne & Pat Wall, Arnold & Linda Whittaker.

Celebration of Life on Saturday May 18, 2024 in Mountain View, Wyoming at the Presbyterian Church will begin at 1:30 p.m.
