Francis Richardson

Francis Fredrick Richardson “Fred” passed away at his home in Lyman, WY on Friday, August 19, 2016.
He was born on August 20, 1930 in Bonners Ferry, ID to Leslie L. and Pearl Marie Richardson.

Fred served his country honorably for 21 years in the United States Army and was a prisoner of war during the Korean Conflict.  He was an avid ocean fisherman and enjoyed boating, hunting, and camping.  He loved working with wood and was master carpenter.

Fred is survived by his children Terrie D. (Robert) Abernathy; Nancy L. (Bernie) Hatfield; Deborah E. (Rex) Winkler; 16 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his wife Eleanor “Scotty” Richardson; parents Leslie and Pearl; brothers Robert D. Richardson; Charles E. Richardson; Lyle D. Richardson; Leslie Roy Richardson; sisters Rosetta M. Lochman; Betty J. Bennetto; Pearl M. Hanson.  He was also preceded in death by a grandson Steven D. Kelley.

Cremation has taken place under the direction of Crandall Funeral Home and Memorial services will take place at a later date.
