Florence E. Aimone passed away April 8, 2015 at her home in Robertson, Wyoming. She was born October 28, 1923 in Yakima, Washington the daughter of Ida E. Gourley and James S. Goodrick.
She married Fred R. Aimone November 1, 1941 in Salt Lake City, Utah. They had a daughter, Elizabeth Ann Aimone. She married Clarke Beman Jr. Florence, along with her husband raised their three grand-children after they lost their parents in a tragic accident in 1973.
In May 1975 Fred and Florence moved to their ranch in Robertson, where she still resided.
Florence and Fred were well known in Uinta County for the annual spaghetti dinners they prepared and served at the Catholic Church in Evanston during Cowboy Days for fourteen years.
After the death of her beloved husband in 2009, Florence continued to live on the ranch where her grandson Don Beman still lives and took good care of “grandma”.
She is survived by her grandson, Don and his wife Stephanie; two beautiful great-granddaughters, Trinity and Kiara Beman, whom she loved dearly; Granddaughters, Dawn Marie Nielsen and her husband Larry of Roy, Utah; and granddaughter, Elizabeth Reed and her husband Robert Reed, and great-granddaughter, Kassidy Davis.
Funeral Mass will be held at Saint Helen’s Catholic Church in Fort Bridger on Monday, April 13, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. Rosary will be on Sunday evening at 7:00 p.m. Family and friends may call at the church Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Monday one hour prior to mass.
Interment will follow in the Fort Bridger Cemetery.
