Engolf Deros passed away on October 31, 2012 in the Park City Medical Center.
He was born on March 3, 1929 in Chicago, Il. To Peter Olaf and Gunvor Elizabeth (Pedersen) Deros.
He married Leona Mae Sours in Peoria, Il on March 25, 1951. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
He was a member of the LDS church. He enjoyed prospecting precious metals with family and friends. Engolf enjoyed working on cars and hot rods and building things and working with his children. He was an avid Sea Scout. He loved the mountains and being outdoors. Most of all he loved his family and his grandchildren.
He is survived by his loving wife Leona and children: Carmen (Glade) Prescott, of Kamas; Mark (Denise) Deros of Lubbock, Tx; Flash (Pamela) Deros of Kamas; Shane (Cilalli) Deros of Santaquinn; E. Layn (Laura) Deros of Grantsville; Mynn”z” (Steve) Pavlides of Henderson, Nv; Reggie (Amy) Deros of Riverton; and Shana (Mark) Rummel of Kamas
Brother: B.Roy (Blanca) Deros of Payson, Ut
Also 29 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren
He is preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Marie Schilling and Greta Owens
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 3, 2012 at 12 noon in the Kamas LDS Ward Chapel. Friends may call at the church from 10:30 to 11:45 am prior to the service
Interment will be in the Marion Cemetery under the direction of Crandall Funeral Home Kamas.
