Elton Lester

Elton Allen “Bob” Lester, 85,  passed away December 6, 2012 at the University Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah.
He was born on June 6, 1927 in Hilliard, Wyoming to James Henry and Esther(Hutchinson) Lester.  He was one of 18 children.
He married Patsy Myrnalice Smith on September 29, 1944 in Evanston, Wy.
Bob loved spending time with his family, fishing and being outdoors in the mountains.  He loved to operate tractors and do dirt work.  He enjoyed hunting sage chickens and working on machinery.
He is survived by his five daugthters, Sharon (Paul) Danks of Green River, Wy. Patricia (Larry) Garetto of Lyman, Wy. Judy (Ray) Balser of Mountain View, Wy. Alice (Von) Chamberlain of Lyman, Wy. Jackie (Roger) Wetzel of Kemmerer, Wy. Two Sons, Robert (Ginger) Lester of Lyman, Wy. B. LaVelle (Billie) Lester of Ft. Bridger, Wy.  Brother, Verl (Joyce) Lester, of Hilliard; and two sisters Lavina Pierce, of Evanston and June Pierce of Ogden.
Bob is also survived by Twenty Five Grandchildren,  Sixty two Great Grandchildren, and three Great Great Grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.   He was preceded in death by his wife, his parents and 14 brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be held Monday December 10, 2012  at 12:00 Noon at the American Legion Hall in Ft. Bridger, WY. There will be a viewing Monday from 10:00 A.M. until 12:00 noon at the Legion Hall in Fort Bridger, WY.  Interment will be in the Lyman City Cemetery.
