Elizabeth Austin Snyder, 49, returned to her Heavenly Father August 11, 2015 at her home following a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born on August 12, 1965 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Joseph A. Frodsham and Doris E. (Frickey) Thaller.
She married James L. (Jim) Snyder on June 30, 1984 in Kamas, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She was a teacher in the South Summit School District for 19 years. She enjoyed being a wife and mother, homemaking, canning, and spending time with her grandsons. She had an endless supply of craft projects; quilting, crochet, arts and crafting. Liz was the ultimate party planner for any given reason. She liked exercising, walking, hiking, and running. She was always active outdoors in her gardens and flower beds. She loved spending time with family and playing board games. She was always concerned about others and helping those in need.
Survived by her loving husband, Jim and their daughters, Sidney E. (Stuart) Davis and Lindsey A. Snyder and two grandchildren. Also, her father, Joseph (Mary Jean) Frodsham, and mother, Doris E. (Fred) Thaller; sisters: Lisa A. (Ken) Norwick; Cindy A. (Dan) Davis; Missy (Dan) Veile; Tobi N. Thaller; and Pyper M. (Justin) Powell.
Funeral service will be on Monday, August 17, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. in the Francis L.D.S. Ward Chapel, 387 West Last Frontier Lane, Francis, Utah. Viewing will be held at the church on Sunday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Monday one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in the Francis Cemetery under the direction of Crandall Funeral Home, Kamas, Utah.
