She was born March 18, 1934 in Bison, South Dakota to Clarence E and Ruth S Anderson Albertson. She loved to garden, cook, and always enjoyed her grandchildren. She was very proud of her degree as a registered nurse and she was the director of nursing at the Veterans Administration in Reno.

She also collected memorabilia like collector plates, fine china, crystal, silver, and ceramics.
