Eldon Michael Lloyd, age 89, died January 11, 2018. He was born in Orem, Utah March 5, 1928 to Allen W. and Myrtle Carter Lloyd. Eldon enlisted in the United States Navy in 1944 during World War II and served for eight years. After an honorary discharge Eldon moved to Evanston, Wyoming where he met and married Lorraine E. Olsen. They were married for 57 years. Eldon owned and operated Eldon’s Service for 30 years before going to work at FMC. Eldon enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapping, woodworking, and gardening, especially taking care of his many flowers. Eldon was a member of the Masons, The Shriners, and Eastern Star Chapter Nine. He was a Past Worthy Grand Patron with Eastern Star and travelled extensively throughout Wyoming and surrounding states in that capacity after he retired.
Eldon is survived by his wife Lorraine, stepson Steve Cates (Julie), sons Allen Lloyd (Cindy), Charles Lloyd (Donnell), daughter in law Wendy Lloyd, brother Gene Lloyd, sisters Blanche Perry, and Gloria Jeppson, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a son Michael Lloyd, his parents, and several brothers and sisters.

Services will be held January 27, 2018 at 11:00 am at Crandall’s Funeral Home.
