Kamas- My loving husband, our father and grandpa, Edwin Verdon Street passed away on January 20, 2015 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Our hearts are heavy as we remember the man who worked so hard to provide for his family.
He was born on June 21, 1944 in Park City, Utah to William George Street and Marcella Prescott Street.
He married Colette Chesnut on December 7,1963 in Park City. Edwin worked as a heavy equipment operator for many years. He always said there were two things he couldn't fix, "the crack of dawn and a broken heart." He will be missed.
He is survived by his loving wife, Colette; son, Edwin (Stacey) Street and daughter, Stacy Street, all of Kamas; 4 grandchildren, Haley Dawn, Kassidy Lynn, Kayla Ashley, Danielle Ranae, and sister Lorraine Kofford also of Kamas.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and siblings Mariam, Alton, Marva, Phyliss, Enid, Merrial, Lavelle 'Tim' Connie, and his stepson, Bruce 'Ted' Bair.
A celebration of life will be held at the Kamas LDS Ward chapel at 100 West Center Street, on Saturday at 12:30 p.m.
Friends and family are invited to the church prior to the service from 11:00 to 12:30. A luncheon will follow. In place of flowers, please bring a special memory of Edwin.
In accordance with his wishes a cremation has taken place.
