Edna Ruth Johnson Wall passed away at her home in Robertson on January 18, 2019.
Edna’s life began at the Johnson Ranch in Robertson on Feb 1, 1914 at which time her parents Wallace & Alice Johnson along with siblings – Orville, Keith, Lorna, Merle and later Larry welcomed this beautiful baby girl into the world and their lives.
Almost 105 years, Edna lived a long-wonderful-happy life. On Nov. 25, 1936 she married Eldon Wall at the Johnson Ranch. They later bought their own ranch at Robertson and raised 3 children; Wayne, Linda and Dan. As the years went by, 5 beautiful grandchildren came along; Melony Wall, Leslie Whittaker, Eliot Whittaker, Monte Wall and Owen Wall. The blessings did not stop there as along came 6 great grandchildren, Curtis Whittaker, Jesse Wall, Callie Greenhaw, Demi Wall, Justin Wall, and Alec Wall.
Edna’s many loves included working beside Eldon, reading, writing poetry and belonging to the Willow Creek Homemaker’s Club since 1939 and spending time with her family.
Edna was preceded in death by her parents, Wallace and Alice Johnson; Husband, Eldon Wall; Daughter, Linda Whittaker; Son, Wayne Wall; Granddaughter, Melony Wall; Brothers, Gail, Orville, & Keith Johnson; Sisters, Lois Johnson, Merle Elmer & Lorna Hobson; Daughter-in-law, Patricia Goodman Wall, and a son-in-law Arnold Whittaker.
Edna always attributed her longevity to being happy.
Funeral service will be on Friday, January 25, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. in the Union Presbyterian Church in Mountain View. Viewing will be at the church from 11:30 to 1:00 p.m.
Interment will be in the Fort Bridger Cemetery
