Edna Sundberg

Edna Olivea Sundberg, age 92, passed away Sunday, August 10, 2014 at the Kindred Nursing Home in Rawlins, Carbon, Wyoming.   Edna Sundberg was born April 23, 1922 in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake County, Utah to Lenora Horsefield Gritton and William Gritton.  She married Jay Gideon Sundberg  February 7, 1941 in Kimball, Kimball, Nebraska. Their marriage was solemized in the LDS Salt Lake Temple June 5, 1982.
She was preceeded in death by her husband, Jay, June 23, 2008.  Her parents also preceeded her in death as well as a brother, Marvin Sundberg, and a great-grand son, Eliziah Stone Poledna and daughter-in -law Linda Sundberg.
She is survived by her son, Gary Ernest Sundberg and his children, Eric (Heidi) Sundberg, Kje (Ali) Sundberg, and Christopher (Natalie) Sundberg.    Her daughter, Diane Lanora Sundberg Poledna and husband, Gary and their children, Aaron Jay (Chandra) Poledna and their children, Graison Luke and Ava Rose Poledna. And Diane and Gary's daughter, Andrea Timberlee (Jeff) Hatch and her daughters, Aislinn Renae Taylor, Julianna Paige Taylor and Cora McKenzie Taylor.
Also surviving  are her sisters, Iris Morrow, Betty Koster Johnson, Shirley Bush and brother, Byron Sundberg and Aunt Mabel Welsh, 102 years old.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Aug 16, 2014 at the Crandall Funeral Home at 11:00am in Evanston, Wyoming, with a viewing to be held one hour prior to services.  Burial will follow at the Evanston Cemetery.  In leiu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
