Edna Gerrard

Edna Mae Gerrard, our beloved mother, passed away peacefully on September 19, 2019.

Edna was born August 19, 1926 to Franklin and Martha Bateman in Evanston, Wyoming. She married David Gerrard on October 17, 1942. Their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple on November 27, 2012; they were blessed with 11 children. Edna loved to go camping, spending time outdoors, crocheting and doing puzzles. She worked at various motels, Memorial Hospital and the Wyoming State Hospital where she retired. She was a devoted Mother and loved all of her family.

Edna is survived by eight children, Linda Lamb, Tom Bateman, Diane Myers, Allen Gerrard, Randy (Linny) Gerrard, Dawn (Jim) Hawke, Clifford (Brenda) Gerrard and Brian Gerrard; daughter-in-law Della Gerrard; two sisters, Grace Whiting and Myrtle Gilmore; 34 grandchildren, 68 great grandchildren and 27 great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, 3 brothers, 1 sister, 2 sons, 1 daughter, a grandson and a granddaughter.

A funeral service will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at the Elm Street LDS church in Evanston with a viewing starting at 10:00 AM. Interment will be in Evanston City Cemetery.
