Duwayne Shorma

DuWayne Joseph Shorma, passed away at his home in Lyman, Wyoming  surrounded by his loving family on October 26, 2011.
He was born on October 14, 1950 in Wapheton, ND  to Joseph Albert Shorma and Bessie Marie (Polda)  Shorma.
He worked for many years for Questar Pipeline and was a District Supervisor.
He married Ellen Louise Jons on September 2, 1972 in Dixon, Wyoming.
DuWayne  enjoyed  the outdoors, fishing, hunting and camping.  He also liked to do woodworking, traveling (especially to Alaska and Canada and most of all spending time with his family.
He was a former member of the Bridger Valley Relay for Life Committee and was the 2009 Bridger Valley Relay for Life Grand Marshal.
He was a member of St. Davids Episcopal Church where he served as church treasurer for many years.
He is survived by his wife Ellen Louise, of Lyman; son: Eric DuWayne (Christin) Shorma and a daughter: Heidi Leigh (Briggin) Palmer ; a grandson, Benjamin Rucco
Brothers: Gary, Harvey, and Dennis and a sister Janice Hendricks.
He is preceded in death by  his father Joseph Shorma, his father-in-law Clayton Jons, and a sister Julene Williams.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. in St. David’s Episcopal church in Fort Bridger, Wyoming.
In lieu of flowers please make donations in DuWayne’s name to the American Cancer Society.
