Dorothy Anderson Wilson, passed away in Evanston, Wyoming on Thursday, January 24, 2013 at the age of 83. Dorothy was born in Heber City, Utah to Ivan and Vera Anderson on January 4, 1930.
Before moving to Evanston, she worked at Hill Field Air Force Base in Ogden, Utah doing instrument repair. She loved to travel and see the world. She opened her own business in Evanston and worked at her bench doing custom silver work for around 25 years. She will always be remembered for her custom silver Elk Tooth rings that she made for a many of her customers.
Dorothy is survived by her daughters Carolyn Harbert of Evanston, Wyoming and Shirley Kaesmeyer and her husband Jim of Longmont, Colorado, as well as 3 grandsons; Brandon Chavez of Evanston, Wyoming; Kirby (Adrienne) Wilson of Coalville, Utah; Duaine Harbert of Lenior, North Carolina. She is also survived by her sisters; Julia Briggs of Evanston, Wyoming and Kaye Herron of Overton Nevada.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Warren Wilson; son Michael Wilson; brother Jack Anderson and sister Vera Ryan.
Graveside Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at 2 pm at the Evanston City Cemetery. A viewing will be held at Crandall Funeral Home on Wednesday 1 hour prior to the service.
