Doris Hill Taylor
Doris Jane Hill Taylor, passed away in Oakley, Utah on February 19, 2018.
She was born on September 17, 1941 to George Albert and Leona (Huber) Hill in Salt Lake City, Utah.
She attended and graduated from Cyprus High School. Doris worked many years as a accounts receivable clerk for various trucking companies, retiring in 2009 to spend more time with her grandchildren. She was an artist and enjoyed oil painting and photography. She also did crafts including, crochet, needlepoint, and quilting. She was interested in genealogy and had done extensive family research. Camping and traveling were also enjoyable to her.
She is survived by her daughter: Julie (Jack) Richmond and two grandchildren Cade David Richmond and Fallon Alyssa Richmond.
Three sisters: Lola (Myron) Christensen; Dorothy (Scotty) Reynolds; and Susan (Stephen) Garr.
She is preceded in death by her sister, Edna Bowden Golding.
Special thanks to Audrey, Brittaney, Marisela, Jamie, Ballie, Jessica, Becky, Wendy, Afton, Leona, Crystal and Lynne for the wonderful care they gave to our mother and grandmother.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, February 23, 2018 at 1:30 p.m. Family and friends will gather at the Crandall Funeral Home, 105 East Center, Kamas, Utah from 12 to 1 on Friday. Memories will be shared prior to travel to the Marion Cemetery.
