Donna Fay White, 56, passed away at her home in Evanston on Friday, August 31, 2013. She was born November 14, 1956 in Fort Riley, Kansas to Kenneth and Neva Berrie.
Donna loved being outdoors camping, sitting by the river or just having a BBQ in the back yard. She loved animals and often took in rescue animals to find them homes. She was always willing to help others and never hesitated to offer whatever she had. Her greatest joy in life was found in spending time with her grandchildren. She will be dearly missed.
Donna is survived by her spouse of 15 years, Kim Griffin; her daughter April (Wes) Sowder, and grandsons, Joseph and Sylvane Sowder. She is also survived by Ember Caves, and granddaughters Jade, Bobee, and Piper Caves; niece Rebecca (Dave) Biebinger, and grand nephews, Garrett, Darek, and Adrian Biebinger. She is also survived by her mother, Neva Berrie as well as two brothers, Gerald and Robert, all of Texas.
Donna was preceded in death by her granddaughter Kysa Sowder, and her father, Kenneth Berrie of Texas.
As were her wishes, cremation has taken place under the direction of Crandall Funeral Home. No services are scheduled at this time.
