Donald Stocks Jr.

Donald Raymond Stocks, Jr. went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, September 11, 2015 after a courageous battle with cancer.
He was born on march 25, 1950 in Moab, Utah to Donald Raymond and Letty Russell (Borreson) Stocks.
On August 4, 1972 he married JoAnn Marie Eldredge in Salt Lake City, Utah.  They were married 43 years.
He worked for Allied Chemical/General Chemical as a Surface Maintenance Mechanic.
Don was a devout Christian who loved his family and friends.  He felt his most valuable asset to give, was his time to his family.  He lived as a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and brother.   He was a kind and compassionate person and a example of the Golden Rule.  He enjoyed hunting, reloading, playing pool with friends and was a fan of the Denver Broncos.  He was also a pilot and loved to fly.
Surviving are:  his loving wife, JoAnn  of Lyman; sons: Donald R. “Dave” and his wife Tanya Stocks of Rock Springs, Wy; and Andrew “Andy” and his wife, Stephanie Stocks of Lyman;  8 grandchildren and one great grandchild.  Brothers: LeRoy (Ann) Riley of Farmington, New Mexico; Bob (Sharon) Riley of Fruita, Colorado; Buzz (Sharon) Riley of Mountain Home, Idaho; Bo (Bonnie) Riley of Green River, Wyoming; and Kim (Nikki) Stocks of St. George, Utah.
He is preceded in death by his parents, a daughter-in-law, Anna Stocks; and a nephew, Rusty Riley.
In accordance with his wishes cremation has taken place.
A memorial celebration of his life will be on Saturday, September 19, 2015, at  11:00 A.M. , in Heart of the Valley Baptist Church, Mountain, View, Wyoming.
Interment services will be held in Moab, Utah on Monday, September 21, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. in the Grand County Cemetery.
