He served in many callings, including being the Bishop two times, the High Council, Stake Missionary, Teaching Seminary, and faithful Home Teacher. Dad loved the outdoors, fishing, hunting, golfing and camping with his family. He also loved doing word search, and Facebook on his IPad to keep track of his family. He enjoyed watching baseball and the Utah Jazz. Dad served the community of Evanston as City Clerk for 21 years. He also served on the school board for the Uinta County School District and on the Insurance board for the Wyoming Association of Municipalities.
