Deloris Elinor Ramon of Evanston, Wyoming passed away peacefully on June 3, 2016. She was born in Mountain View, Wyoming on October 16, 1936 to James Roper and Lavina (Shurtleff) Roper.
Deloris worked at the Wyoming State Hospital for over 25 years, in her spare time she enjoyed crocheting, reading, and taking care of her pets, plants, and family. She also loved collecting itty bitties. She had a strong, playful spirit and enjoyed a good joke. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her children Peggy (Gary) Harvey, Evanston Wyoming; Edmundo Ramon, Torrington Wyoming; Steven (Jo) Ramon Ogden, Utah and step daughters: Diamantina (Celso) Fuentez, Chicago, Ill; Cruz (Tony) De La Rosa, Larado, Tx; and Rosa (Leonard) Tobias, Racine, WI
Her siblings Marion (Gail) Roper, Ogden Utah; Frank Roper, Lansing, Michigan; Ruth (Russel) Cook, Evanston, Wyoming; Joyce Garcia Evanston, Wyoming; Dale (Jody) Roper Ogden, Utah; Gary Roper Evanston, Wyoming; Jerry (Agnes) Roper Payson, Utah; and Russel Roper Evanston, Wyoming
She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 10 great- grandchildren and 16 step-grandchildren, all of whom she loved to spoil.
She is preceded in death by her parents, James William Roper and Lavina Roper. Her loving husband Isabel Ramon, and her brothers, Wallace Leo and James Oliver.
In lieu of flowers please donate to Shriner’s Hospital for Crippled Children in Salt Lake City, Utah or the Evanston Cancer Resource Center. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
