David Charles Wright

David Charles Wright, 61, passed away in the presence of his family in the evening of November 2nd 2023. Born March 26, 1962 to Wesley and Lois Wright in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was the second youngest of nine children, Betty, Bev, Shar, Joe, Jim, Rick, Deb and Chrisy. Dave loved spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren. He also enjoyed his extended family and friends. He enjoyed hockey and telling jokes (even the bad ones) to all. Dave married Lisa who he met while working at Rolls Royce (Triumph Gear Systems) and happily celebrated 19 years last March with the love of his life.

Dave spent the past 23 years working at Triumph Gear Systems and enjoyed every aspect of his job and the people he worked with.

He is survived by his daughter Shelby Giles (T.J), son Cole Sweat (Mattie), his 3 grandkids Calvin, Katy Jo, and Kinlee Giles and as well as his siblings, in laws, nephews, nieces and cousins.

We will be celebrating his life with family and friends at Millcreek Commons 1354 East Chambers Ave, Millcreek, Utah 84106 on November 10th 2023 from 4:00-7:00 pm.
