David G. Robinson
“I did it my way”
David Gordon Robinson, 80, passed away April 3, 2014 in the Intermountain Park City Medical Center.
He was born on March 28, 1934 in Salt Lake City to George Jeremiah and Esther (Lythgoe) Robinson.
He married Maxine Leah Martin on May 6, 1955 in Salt Lake City. He owned and was the President of Quality Performance Lines, Inc., a remanufacturer of automobile parts and a auto parts retail outlet.
Dave served his country in the United States Navy during the Korean War. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He loved his horse Queeny, being outdoors with his family camping, fishing and hunting. He also enjoyed bowling over the years and golfing with his brothers. He loved teaching pool and Crazy Eights to his grandkids.
He is survived by his wife Maxine, children: Jess J. (Anne) Robinson, Gilbert AZ; Judy R. (Tony) Louder, Marion, UT; Jay E. (Wendi) Robinson, Lancaster, CA; and Janet R. Mitchell, Peoa, UT; 14 grandchildren, and 20 great grandchildren and a brother George G. (Ann) Robinson, Sandy, UT.
He is preceded in death by his parents, a brother James C., grandson Tyler Mitchell and great granddaughter, Grace Martindale.
Funeral service will be on Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in the Woodland L.D.S. Ward Chapel.
Friends may call at the church from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday evening and from 10 to 10:45 a.m. on Wednesday.
Interment will be in the Woodland Utah Cemetery under the direction of Crandall Funeral Home, Kamas.
