David Bert Ricks

David Bert Ricks, 76 passed away May 22, 2024, at his home in Evanston, Wyoming. 

He was born February 24, 1948, in Rexburg, Idaho to Arthur William and Loas Marjorie (Christensen) Ricks.

He leaves behind his wife Vicky Chestnut Ricks of Evanston; children, Dana Michael Ricks, of Evanston, Lynn (James) Huckaby of Farson; stepchildren, Wesley (Connie) Chestnut of Vernal, Michelle Clark of Evanston, Rena (Mike) O’Neal of Page, AZ, William David Ricks of Cheyenne; brothers, Stan (Sherry Christensen of Queen Creek, AZ, Arthur (Lisa) Ricks of Idaho Falls, ID; sister, Cathy Marston of Reno, NV; numerous nieces and nephews; 13 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Dennis Ricks, and a sister Suzzy Keller.

David spent most of his life driving across the United States as a long-haul truck driver, stopping by visiting and talking with all his favorite people.

Funeral Services will be held at the Crandall Funeral Home 800 Uinta St., Evanston, WY Tuesday, June 4, 2024, at 10:00 am. Visitation will begin at 9:00 am prior to services. Interment will follow in the Marion Cemetery 832 East 2700 North, Kamas, Utah Cemetery at @ 2:30 pm.
