David Neil Fisher, age 80 of Evanston passed away Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at his
home surrounded by his loving family.
Born September 14, 1939 in Heber City, Utah the son of Beatrice B. Goodfellow
Fisher.
David served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam Era; he married Inge Meter
on November 11, 1961 in Bitburg, Germany and raised three children during their 59 years of marriage.
David was an Industrial Safety teacher throughout his service in the Air Force and further pursued his passion for teaching with Boces Education Center here in Evanston. An avid traveler, he enjoyed fishing, boating and camping throughout the country. In his final years, his favorite place to get away from Wyoming winters was Needles, California. He developed a passion for cooking and researched new recipes to try – his favorite recipes were printed and cataloged in his personal binder.
He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Good Sam’s Club, and Veterans of foreign Wars.
David is survived by his loving wife Inge; daughter, Patricia Jumonville; sons, David Fisher, Jr, Michael Fisher; three grandchildren, four great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his siblings, Judy Butt, Donald Fisher, Pete Bass, Bruce Bass, Cathleen Bass Futrell.
A private viewing and funeral will be held.
