David Leon Bone

David Leon Bone, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on December 18, 2024, in Oakley, Utah. He was born on December 31, 1952, in Salt Lake City, Utah to Don Leon and Shirley Petterson Bone.

A master craftsman and pipeline welder, David built a reputable career and his commitment to his craft was emulated in his work. He served as a volunteer firefighter for South Summit from 2001 to 2018.

Outside of work, David enjoyed restoring classic cars and antique wagons and buggies.

David is survived by his wife, Alyce M. Bone; his children, Carrie M., Wesley L., and Forrest R.; his granddaughter, Madison; and his siblings, Sherm, Marty, and Karen. 

He is preceded in death by his daughter, Connie Jo; his mother, Shirley; and his father, Don. 

A Celebration of Life is being planned for a later date.
