Dale B. Williams, our father, grandfather, great-grandfather, great- great-grandfather passed away November 24, 2016.
He was born August 14, 1920, to Bernard G. Williams and Grace Wright Williams in Peoa, Ut.
Dale served in the Navy during World War II aboard the sea plane tender, Onslow, in the South Pacific. The Onslow was in 4 major battles and awarded recognition for the longest sea plane tow in
history, 275 miles.
He married Dona C (Rees) Williams on October 15, 1946. They have 6 children: Billie (Bob) Gary; Judy (Jerry) Dennis; Mont; Diane (Von Williamson, deceased); Joe (Tami), Lynette (Jacob) Sanchez.
They have 32 grandchildren, 55 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-
grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Bernard and Grace; siblings; Sterling (Myrtle), Rhea (Frank Cosey), Marven (Bobbie), and Avis (George Havir); grandchildren: Keff and Amber Williams; Travis lloyd Dennis; and infant grandchildren, Scott and Sandy Gary and a great grandson, Jordan Taylor Gary.
Grandpa will be remembered for his singing, story-telling, and his never greying hair.
Viewing will be held Monday November 28, 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Peoa LDS Ward Chapel. Funeral will be Tuesday November 29, 2016 at 12 noon also at the Peoa Chapel. Viewing will also precede the funeral at the church from 10:30 to 11:45 Tuesday. Interment with military honors will follow in the Peoa Cemetery.
