Dale Simmons

Dale Simmons,  passed away peacefully, January 14, 2017 at his home.
He was born on July 19, 1929 in Francis, Utah to Albert and Nettie May (Prescott) Simmons.
He served his country in the Navy during the Korean Conflict.
Dale married Loella I Settlemoir in Francis, Utah on June 18, 1954.  Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
He loved to spend time with his family, hunting and camping, going on family trips, and farming.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Loella of Francis; his sons, Alvin (Roxanne) Simmons of Sandy, Utah, and Brent (Laurie) Simmons of Francis, Utah;   daughters: Patsy (Dan) Foust, of Echo, Utah and Janet (Steve) Walsh of Kearn, Ut;  a brother: Doyle Simmons, of Francis, and a sister Rita Andreason, of Charleston.
He is preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral service will be on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at 12:00 noon in the Francis LDS Ward Chapel, on Frontier Lane.
A viewing will be held for family and friends on Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 pm and one hour prior to the funeral on Wednesday.
Interment with military honors will follow in the Francis Cemetery.
