Craig William Costa, beloved husband, father, stepfather, grandfather and friend, died of a sudden heart attack on March 5, at the age of 62. A joyful and caring man, Craig loved to fish, camp, boat and kayak, hike and ski, play and laugh, and spend time in the outdoors. He was happiest on a river or ocean and with his wife, family and friends. He fought strongly and vocally for local and national Gay and LGBT rights. Craig studied political science, economics, geography and environmental science, graduating with two BA degrees. In 1982, he opened Angelino’s delicatessen and catering in SLC and would later become a fishing guide. He shared his love of life with all who knew him, especially with his wife Gay Lynn, son Jason, stepchildren Josh, Kyle, Dan, Nicky and Makenzi, and their spouses and partners Joshua and Justin, Adrienne, Ti, Katie and Alex, respectively. He was “Poppy” to his dearly loved grandchildren Evie, Inara and Ethan. Preceded in death by his parents, Bob and Kay, survived by his wife Gay Lynn, son Jason, stephchildren and grandchildren as above, and brother Bob. He will be greatly missed by the Crim family (Gay Lynn), by the Arnolds (first wife Janeen) and by his many close friends.
