Clarence J. Vranish

Clarence Joseph Vranish was born on September 8th, 1941, in Roundup Montana, he departed this world on December 30th, 2023.  He is preceded in death by his father Joseph Vranish, mother Louise Vranish, and sister Sally Armstrong.  Clarence is survived by his loving wife Clara Jean, sons Eric (Annette) and Michael (Rhonda), and cherished grandchildren Alyssa and Joseph, brothers Randolph and Ken, sister Shirley Berving and Marka Marquensen.

One of his greatest enjoyments was being involved in the community.  Clarence was passionate about the Masons, being involved in many facets of the organization.  Clarence had the honor of serving as the Grand Master of the State of Wyoming, providing him many opportunities to travel the state and nation where he made many friends.   Clarence was a veteran of the United States Army.  He had also served on the Wyoming State Legislature, the Evanston City Council, Hunter Safety Instructor, and many local boards.

Clarence had many joys beyond his grandchildren.  He was an accomplished pilot and enjoyed introducing people to aviation, taking many people for their first flight.  A skilled electrical engineer, who had designed oil field tooling, and enjoyed talking to people from around the world with his knowledge in ham radio (N7DT).  

Clarence legacy lives on through his family, his contributions to the community, and the impact he made in various spheres of his rich and fulfilling life.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 3, 2024, at 11:00 am, in the Evanston Round House.  Viewing will be prior to services at the Round House from 9:00 to 10:45 am.  Interment with military honors will be in the Evanston City Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations be made to the Shriners Children's Hospital in memory of Clarence.
