Clarence K. Johnson, 89, passed away on December 6, 2016 at his home in Francis, Utah.
He was born on April 2, 1927 in Francis to Elmer W. and Algie MaryAnn (Kirkham) Johnson.
CK was drafted into the Army and served his country during the final years of WWII.
He married LaRae Prescott on Dec. 16, 1947 in Francis, Utah. She preceded him in death July17, 2007.
He enjoyed working in the hard rock mining industry in Park City, Utah. After the mines were closed he then worked at the Nevada Test Site until he retired in 1989.
More than anything else he enjoyed spending time with his family, boating, camping and showing all his love to his grandkids and great grandkids.
CK is survived by his children: Ronny P (Frieda) Johnson of Pahrump, NV; Cindy (Ron) Smith of Kamas; Scott W. (Becky) Johnson of Francis; and a daughter-in-law, Debra (Rick) Siddoway, also Francis; his brother: Elmer Johnson of Salt Lake City; and sisters: LaRee (Jay) Madsen of Salt Lake City; Polly Mitchell, of Kamas; Lenis Carlucci, of Kamas; and Beth (Ken) Jacobsen of Upton. Also, 12 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents; a son, Larry P. Johnson; a daughter, Jan Johnson; a grandson, Brandon Johnson; a great granddaughter, Ryleigh Siddoway; a sister-in-law, Beth Johnson, and two brother-in-laws, Wendell Mitchell and Daniel Carlucci.

Funeral service will be on Monday, December 12, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. in the Francis LDS Ward Chapel.
Viewing will be on Sunday evening from 6 to 8 p.m and Monday from 10 to 10:45 also at the church.
Interment with military honors will be in the Francis Cemetery.
