Christopher Mark Withouse passed away May 2, 2017 in Evanston, Wyoming. He was born September 16, 1963 in Rolla, Missouri to Kenneth Charles and Lorene Margaret (Shockley) Withouse.
Chris was a 1981 graduate of Maries County R-11 School district in Belle, MO. In august of 1982, he accompanied his brother, Mike and family to Evanston, WY to find work. After a few months he returned to Belle to help his father’s business. In 1984 he returned to Evanston where he worked as a custodian for Uinta County #1 School District. Later he went to work in the oilfield as a flow tester for such companies as Nabor’s Drilling and Norward.
Christopher enjoyed hiking, being outdoors, doing yard work, car detailing and helping others. He was an active member of A.A. and was lucky enough to celebrate close to two years of sobriety. He was a good uncle and loved his family. He loved dogs and liked to read and spend time at the library.
Chris is survived by his son, Tyler Withouse and Tyler's half-sister, Jenna Ewell of Evanston, Wyoming, Tyler’s mother, Danelle Stevig of Evanston, Wyoming, his mother Lorene, of Owensville, Missouri, his sisters, Patricia Dohse of Owensville, Missouri, Peggy Aytes of Owensville, Missouri, Suzanne Hoffman of West Jordan, Utah and his brother Michael (Mary) Withouse of Evanston, Wyoming.
Chris is preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Withouse, and his brother-in-law’s LeRoy Dohse and Ronald Aytes.
Cremation has taken place per the families wishes.
A memorial service will be held at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church, 813 Center Street, Evanston, WY on May 27, 2017 at 11:30 AM with a celebration of life and a luncheon.
He will be transported back to Missouri for a burial at Liberty Cemetery in Belle, MO. Graveside service are pending.
