Chris loved to listen and sing to all kinds of music. She had a passion for the theater, loved going to the movies and reading all kinds of books. She was eager to support her children and grandchildren in their talents as often as she could. She supported her husband and sons in their love and talent of rodeo. Although she hated watching them in dangerous situations, she was always right there cheering them on. She was very talented in crochet and quilting. Her doilies and quilts are cherished by anyone she gave them to. In her opinion every baby, related or not, needed a woobie from Grandma Chris. She loved her church callings especially those that involved the primary children. Her most favorite time at church was watching the primary program. She loved to do service projects of any kind. She was an amazing example of service to others, and in that raised her children to realize the importance of service as well. She served on the board for the AAMA Arizona Chapter for many years and always looked forward traveling to the conventions and workshops that went along with that position. Her family was her life’s love. She loved being a mother and grandmother. She was an amazing woman of courage, positive attitude, strength, grace and love. Everyone who knew her loved her. She will be greatly missed.
Her memorial service will be held: June 8,2013 @ 11:00am at the LDS Kamas Stake Center in Marion, UT. At the request of the family, all are welcome to join them @ a luncheon to celebrate Chris's life directly following the service.
Her cremation will be under the direction of Crandall Funeral Home.
