Christine Fairbourn was called home to her Heavenly Father on July 2, 2016. She was greeted by loved ones there, her Grandparents Marion and Laura Fairbourn, Uncles Scott and Melvin Fairbourn and her Grandfather John Howard Brinton.
Christine was born April 12, 1990. She is survived by her Grandmother Marian Brinton (Logan, UT), parents Marla and Sterling Fairbourn (Lyman, WY), sister and brother-in-law Laurel and Dan Jensen, their children Louis and Delaney (Logan, UT), sister TraciAnn Fairbourn (Ogden, UT), sister and brother-in-law Kimberly and Eric Welchman, their son Deric (Mountain View, WY). She will be missed by many.
Christine graduated from Lyman High School and attended both Utah State University and Bridgerland Applied Technology College in Logan, UT, receiving her certification in Veterinary Technology. She loved the outdoors and working with animals, especially her dogs "Rainy" and "Roper". She has been employed in vet clinics and on working ranches. She chose to serve an LDS mission to the California, San Bernardino Mission where she loved the people and her companions.
Powell, Wyoming became her home away from home as she attended Northwest College there. Soon she fell in love with the people of Powell and their families. She loved to serve in the LDS Institute Program and loved her roommates. Chris was employed by Park County Weed and Pest and the George Family Dairy Farm near Cody, Wyoming. She loved the family dearly and her co-workers. Her most cherished time was serving as an Ordinance Worker in the Billings Montana Temple.
Words can't express how grateful we are for the Powell and Bridger Valley communities, family, and friends who have shared our grief and raised us up by sharing memories, time, food, funds, love, and support. Her smile is always with us.
