Cheryl Ann Foster
Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother was called home to be with her father in heaven on March 6, 2013 of heart failure. She passed peacefully at home
surrounded by her adoring family and the two dogs and three cats that she loved so much.
Cheryl Ann was born the first day of spring, June 21, 1943 to Nora and G.H. Peterson, the oldest daughter of six children.
Cheryl grew up in Pocatello, Idaho where she graduated from Pocatello High School. That is where she met the love of her life, Bert Martin Foster. They were married on
June 15, 1962 and had four children.
Martin and Cheryl lived in Pocatello for many years. They moved to Georgia, Texas, Louisiana, finally settling in Evanston, WY. for the last thirty one years, near her beloved
mountains and family.
Cheryl love to travel, paint and do home projects. She owned a cabin in Alpine, WY. where she spent most weekends, with her grandchildren and children. Cheryl was up for anything
adventurous, even floating down the Snake River in a raft. Mom always made holidays special especially Christmas, never leaving a detail or anyone forgotten.
Cheryl is preceded in death by her father, G.H. Peterson, her mother, Nora Peterson and a sister Shannon and her brother, Steve.
Cheryl is survived by her loving husband, B. Martin Foster, her children, Candace (Steve) Bindrup, of Ogden, UT.; Heather and Jesse Shurz, of Layton, UT.; and Tate and Angie Foster, of Evanston, WY.;
and Whitney and Troy Mitchell, of Lyman, WY. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, and five grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers, Doug Peterson, Greg Peterson, and Susan
Yount.
The family wants to give special thanks to her wonderful neighbors, Senior Citizens, home health and hospice, she love you all so much.
Our mom and grandmother and great grandmother, friend, and wife will be dearly missed.
Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at the Sage Street L.D.S. Chapel, Evanston, WY. with Bishop Dennis Poppinga officiating. Interment and graveside services
will be conducted on Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at the Pocatello Idaho Cemetery, Pocatello, ID.
