Carlos E. Arroyo Velasco passed away on March 9, 2012 in Evanston, Wyoming. He was born on February 28, 1960 to Rodrigo and Cecilia Velasco de Arroyo.
He married Carmen Montalbo in Quito Ecuador on August 6, 1983.
Carlos loved to barbeque and spend time with his family. He loved dogs, hiking and the outdoors, eating good food, fixing up old cars, going on walks, swimming, watching movies, going for rides, collecting small toy cars, going to the beach, and taking pet rocks for rides. His favorite bible verse was Psalm 46:1-2 “God is our refuge and strength, and ever present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea.”
He is survived by his wife, Carmen; a son Cristian Arroyo and a daughter, Ana Arroyo; His parents, Rodrigo and Cecilia Arroyo; brothers: Fernando, Alberto, Patricio and Pepe and sisters: Ivonne, Geioconda all of Ecuador
Funeral service will be in the Evanston Alliance Church, 235 Overthrust Road at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, March 12, 2012. Friends and family may call one hour prior to the service.
